I’ve been gearing up for a show and just finished up some art pieces which I will debuting very soon. The upcoming show is based off of a piece I just finished for The Little Bird Gallery in Los Angeles. Their 2010 Quarterly Art Subscription is a yearly gathering of some really cool art. They have selected 12 artists and I was asked to be among them for this cool project. My print is available through the Little Bird Gallery and the original art is for sale in my Arcane Arts shop:

Hi Everyone and happy day after Christmas!
We had really mellow eve and day decorating our tiny tin foil tree with spruced up old ball ornaments and shrinky-dinks made Christmas eve. It was a nice relaxing time with good food and my hubs. We are going to hit the stores today, mostly to return items and give unused things to the donation centers. But the sun is out and it seems like a good day to venture out and experience the craziness of post Christmas sales.
New, in my Etsy shop & Arcane Arts shop are the magnet sets that were available at the Super Colossal Holiday Sale (which was a a great success thanks to Crafty Wonderland and Portlanders who came out!). Featured on new and bigger glass gems are three new illustrations, available in magnet form only: Abstracts, Sea Anemones and Animals. Also featured are my always popular Jellyfish and Owls on new and bigger glass gems too!

I am making some new things for the shop and for Crafty Wonderland’s Super Colossal Holiday Sale this weekend! For now, I have listed my new animal cards in the shop today. They are also in my Etsy shop too. The card feature prints of original illustrations done in water color and ink and blank inside so they are good for anytime of the year! I will be offering these 4 animal illustrations in special 8×10 archival prints too at the CW fair this weekend. Come grab them while they’re hot!
I’ve got more goodies to post in the shop this week so stay tuned!

If you didn’t get a chance to make it to The Wild Arts Festival, here is a peek at the pieces we had in the 6×6 fundraiser. Unfortunately, all the art pieces were sold straight off the wall, so I didn’t get to see my piece in person yesterday but I was really glad it sold. We hope our collaboration went home with someone special too! All the proceeds go to help the birds at the Audubon Society of Portland and we were so happy to contribute in this fun project!
