Whew! Its been a whirlwind of a weekend. It started off Thursday with a Portland Mercury mention. I was delighted to be among some very talented people here in town like Bossanova Baby, Totinette, Jill Bliss, and Amy Ruppel just to name a few. Here is a scan of the paper, to read more on the article, click here:
Then, the Handmade Nation movie happened Friday night along with a group show at a tiiiiiny gallery called Good down the street in my neighborhood.
Saturday was a day of adding new crafts for Crafty Wonderland the next day on Sunday. For awhile, I was just selling prints and originals of my artwork but recently decided to add magnets
and note cards to the mix.
I made it a point to work on these new items outside in the sun on my deck. Spring sunshine and warmth has been taking awhile to get here in Portland so I had to soak it up while I was working away. There aren’t many in the shop right now because of all that sold on Sunday but supplies are being ordered and more are in the midst!
Sunday, was the most fun Crafty Wonderland because Cathy & Torie have been doing the fair for 3 years now. So we celebrated it with Voodoo donuts and a brand new gumball machine. Faythe Levine from Handmade Nation was there signing books too so there were a lot of special things going on.
And lastly, I got accepted into the Renegade Brooklyn fair! So excited to go back home and visit. Its going to be sooooo fun!
oh! and p.s. don’t forget to subscribe or rss to this blog because the typepad one is goodbye forever by April 18th!
